Steam Summer Sale starts in two days, those in UK using PayPal will get £5 off for spending £20

Yup. PayPal has announced when the Steam Summer Sale will kick off.

PayPal has become rather reliable source when it comes to Steam sale dates. The payment service announced the summer sale dates last year and the fall and winter sales in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

The Steam Summer Sale starts on June 22 and those in the UK will get £5 off when they spend £20 using their PayPal account. This offer ends on July 4.

We’re checking whether the offer is valid in the US right this minute, but at present, it seems to be UK-only. We’ll check again for you closer to the date.

The June start date for the Steam Summer Sale was rumored back in May, and it was spot on.

Hopefully, some of, if not many of the games on your wishlist will be on sale. Mine has 108 entries. I will never be able to find time play them all, let alone to completion, unless I somehow become:  a) wealthy enough to hire house staff, or b) a kept woman and neither damn one will ever happen.

The Steam Summer Sale officially kicks off at 1pm Eastern and 6pm in the UK on June 22, and will end on July 5 at the exact same times.
